Rev. Shannon Philio grew up in Ocean Springs, MS before attending Mississippi State University in 1985, graduating four years later with an Accounting degree. In 1993, he graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, MS, with a Master of Divinity degree. He then served for four years at First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi, Mississippi as the Associate Pastor before joining the military as an active-duty chaplain for twenty-four years, ten in the United States Air Force and fourteen in the United States Army, retiring in January 2021. Since then, he has been ministering at Moss Point Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as Senior Pastor.

Bryan Kelly grew up in the D'Iberville, MS area. He is blessed to be married to his beautiful wife, Amanda, and to have two beautiful children - Sarah & Aiden. He completed his undergraduate work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary before completing his Master of Divinity degree at New Geneva Theological Seminary. He served at First Presbyterian Church of Gulfport as a Deacon, Elder, Evangelism Coordinator, and Audio Visual Director prior to accepting a call to serve as Assistant Pastor at Moss Point Presbyterian Church.

Our church is led by faithful men who have been called and qualified according to the Scriptures to serve in the biblical offices of elder and deacon. The qualifications for these offices are found in 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5-9, and Acts 6:1-7.
In full compliance with God's Word and the Book of Church Order of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), our elders shepherd the congregation through prayer, the ministry of the Word, oversight, and pastoral care, while our deacons lead in ministries of mercy, service, and stewardship.

Biblical Teaching and Activities for Children and Youth

At Moss Point Presbyterian Church, we believe that children and young people are a vital part of the covenant family of God. Our desire is to see them grounded in the truth of God’s Word and growing into mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
During our Power Hour, teens and young adults gather together to study biblical doctrine, learning not only what we believe but why we believe it according to Scripture. We intentionally bring these ages together to encourage meaningful discussion, discipleship, and fellowship across different stages of life.
Our younger children enjoy a separate age-appropriate class where they are taught the truths of God’s Word in a loving and engaging environment.
At Moss Point Presbyterian Church, we cherish our children and youth. We are a church family made up of every generation, seeking to glorify God as we worship, learn, serve, and grow together in Christ.

Women In Church (WIC)
The Women in the Church (WIC) ministry at Moss Point Presbyterian Church is a welcoming community of women of all ages who gather each month for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service.
Our meetings center on studying God’s Word, encouraging one another in our faith, and praying together. We also plan many of the church’s events and activities, seeking to glorify God and strengthen the fellowship within our church family.
Whether you’re new to the area, looking to grow in your walk with Christ, or simply searching for a group of women to pray with and do life alongside, we’d love to have you join us. Come be encouraged, build lasting friendships, and serve the Lord together.

The men of Moss Point Presbyterian Church meet for breakfast on the first Saturday of each month. We enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer, and a devotional from God’s Word as we encourage one another to grow in faith and serve Christ faithfully. All men are welcome to join us.
